Because night clubs in California worked out so well for everybody the same people are moving up here the same things are happening the same crime rate so what makes them think that opening up a nightclub is going to make anything any better for anybody?? It's not like this the first time Nampa ever had a nightclub. My parents used to go to night clubs back in the 80s.. so not sure why they're acting like it's a New concept because it's from California.. California has done nothing for Idaho except raise our crime rates, raise our traffic, raise the amount of rude crap tastic people, and caused nothing but headaches... The first ones to ever bring a nightclub to idaho. It's a joke it's an excuse and they need to pack up and take it elsewhere.. using California as a positive point to do anything here is not the best way to go because most idahoans don't want them here or their businesses or their thinking or their way of life. Very fortunate to have the protection and absolutely necessary for safe travel for standard and Class 1 and 2 ebikes these days. Put class 3 and faster ebikes out in traffic where they belong. Not where pedestrians are also protected.

I'm all for bringing entertainment options to downtown Nampa but this is not the location for that. There is a serious lack of adequate parking right there and it is already an issue with the few businesses that are there already.

Bike lanes designed by people who don't ride bikes. What could go wrong? I'm an actual cyclist and have ridden this exact bike lane in Ogden, Utah. And almost got hit! This separation hides cyclists from drivers. Drivers lack the benefit of knowing cyclists are there so drivers turn across the bike lane without looking for cyclists. And hit them. These lanes are so expensive that they can't be incorporated on all roads actually used by any particular cyclist. Looks virtuous, but dangerous and ineffective.

As a Californian who wants to move to Idaho I think it’s a great idea. But I’m learning from these comments Idahoans aren’t particularly “open minded.”
